Rutgers to tackle traffic with bike lanes

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Rutgers University plans to acquire bike and bus lanes to enhance transportation on campus and help mitigate rush hour traffic, The Daily Targum reported.

While the new bus lanes is considered a long-term solution and may take anywhere from 20 years to 30 years, a transportation official told the Targum, an alternative short-term solution is to have designated bike lanes on campus within the next two years to three years.
