Minn.'s SouthWest Transit honors vets

Eden Prairie, Minn.-based SouthWest Transit will pay tribute to veterans in several ways on Monday, including offering veterans free rides all day and acknowledging SouthWest Transit staff members and First Transit drivers for their service in the military.

Working with Trans Media Group, a bus has also been wrapped to honor all veterans and will be put into service beginning November 12.

“We want to recognize the sacrifice so many have made,” said Len Simich, CEO of the transit agency. “We are proud to be able to honor those who have played such an important role in our country’s history.”
