HOUSTON — The Daily Cougar.com reported that the University of Houston will save $1 million on its shuttle service by cutting two bus routes and switching providers. The money will be used for repairing streets and parking lots and reducing future permit rates.

In 2012, it cost $2.4 million to maintain and operate the five-route Cougar Line, according to a Dec. 17 press release. For the full story, click here.
