HAMPTON, Va. — WAVY reported that, due to Hampton Roads Transit’s (HRT) budgetary problems, area college students may no longer be able to ride the system for free.

The American Public Transportation Association conducted a review that recommended HRT cut or raise rates on its "Go Pass 365" program, which is losing money. The program provides free transportation for college students, whose colleges pay an annual fee to HRT to participate. For the full story, click here.
