RALEIGH, N.C. — Capital Area Transit in Raleigh and Triangle Transit in Wake, Durham and Orange counties are planning public workshops next month to discuss plans to raise fares in 2014 and again in 2015, according to a News Observer report.

The Raleigh City Council will consider the CAT fare proposal after getting a recommendation from the Raleigh Transit Authority. The Triangle Transit Authority board will decide whether to approve the proposed regional fare increases. For the full story, click here.
