HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Hollywood tour bus company vendors are no longer able to walk up to tourists on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and solicit them for tours of the Los Angeles area per a new law which took effect Monday, ABC7 news reported. Now, the tourists have to approach the operators, who will be located at kiosks or storefronts on private property.

The new rule was implemented to improve the tourist experience. City leaders say rogue companies aggressively harass tourists and ruin vacation stays, according to the report.
