STARKVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi Business Journal reported that during the first three days of the 2014 spring semester, new Starkville-Mississippi State University Area Rapid Transit buses carried a total of 15,250 passengers.

The transit system is an expansion of an earlier shuttle system that primarily was focused on the Mississippi State campus. The new service provides campus-to-city service, with a couple of routes also operating Saturday. For the full story, click here.
