NEW YORK — As dozen of long-distance buses flood the Lower East Side of New York, residents have begun to complain the buses are overwhelming the neighborhood, reported DNAinfo New York.

There are 71 intercity bus stops scattered throughout Manhattan, with more than one-quarter of that number located in the Lower East Side. Residents’ complaints include crowded sidewalks, blocked fire hydrants and exhaust.
