Vancouver, Canada — Simon Fraser University (SFU) groups are displeased that a proposed gondola project was not funded as part of a $7.5 billion regional transit improvement plan that was passed by Metro Vancouver mayors last week, reported The Peak.

The project, which would run from University Station at SFU directly to Burnaby Mountain, would cost just over $100 million dollars and would reduce noise as well as air pollution of up to 7,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases. For the full story, click here.
