IMG names its Operator of the Year
Founded in 1989 by Adam’s father, G. Milton Adams,Dothan, Ala.-based Southern Coaches is a second generation family company that has grown to be one of Alabama’s leading motorcoach operators.
At the final night of International Motor Coach Group’s (IMG) Strategic Alliance Meeting in Branson, Mo., the prestigious Operator of the Year award was presented to John Adams, president of Dothan, Ala.-based Southern Coaches.
Each year, IMG recognizes one of their own, based on a criteria of operational excellence, safety record, best practices, community, and industry involvement and engagement within the IMG itself.
“This award is achieved by having a support staff of great drivers, superb maintenance personnel and an excellent office staff,” said Adams. “It is definitely a team effort."

As IMG tradition dictates, Turbo Images created a unique design on one of Southern Coaches vehicles showcasing Alabama images, which was on full display in Branson.
