SANTA FE, N.M. — The New Mexican is reporting that Santa Fe Mayor Javier Gonzales is proposing a pilot project to provide free shuttle service between the Santa Fe University of Art and Design to downtown and the Santa Fe Railyard to boost nightlife in the area.

The shuttles would run about every half-hour Thursday through Saturday beginning later this month and extending through December. Plans call for the City Council to receive a report in November on the project at which time the mayor and city council could discuss continuation, and possibly, expansion.
