Metropolitan Transportation Authority New York City Transit (NYCT) President Carmen Bianco appointed NYCT veteran Frank Jezycki to the position of VP/chief officer for Staten Island Railway. Jezycki will assume these duties immediately.

With more than 29 years of dedicated service to NYC Transit, Jezycki began his career in 1985 as a maintainers helper within the ventilation & drainage department. For the past 25 years, he has held varying supervisory and managerial positions of increasing responsibility within the Department of Subways.

Most recently, Jezycki headed the Infrastructure group in the Department of Subways as the chief infrastructure officer, solidifying his comprehensive background in maintenance, operations and subway construction practices.

In his new, Jezycki will continue to foster a safe, healthy, and unified work environment to achieve the highest level of customer and employee satisfaction at the Staten Island Railway.
