TOPEKA, Kan. — Come early next year, the Topeka Metropolitan Transit Authority will add a bike-sharing program as an extension of its services, the Topeka Capital-Journal reported.

The Metro board on Monday reached a concensus on the bikes’ color and brand, sees the bikes as a "route extension tool."

Each $1,250 So-Bi bike comes has an onboard transaction computer, so customers can check out and pay for the bike, according to the report.
