DETROIT — The first nearly 900 cubic yards of concrete was poured along a section of Detroit's M1 Rail on Woodward at John R. in downtown Detroit Saturday, reported MLive.

Calling it a "milestone" for the project, M1 spokespeople said "the pour marks the line’s first true production concrete, following the successful alignment and leveling of the previously-installed track, and the completion of a test pour of the concrete to assure proper curing time."
