BOSTON — A Chinese company, Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., a subsidiary of the Chinese-owned CNR Corp, will build the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s (MBTA) new railcars for its Red and Orange Lines, reported WWLP.

The Boston Herald is reporting the company’s bid came in hundreds of millions of dollars lower than its rivals. The Alliance for American Manufacturers — a national labor group — blasted the deal in a letter yesterday to Gov.
