Bombardier Transportation received an additional order for 14 high-capacity trains from the French National Railways (SNCF), valued at approximately $48 million. The 14 three-car trains are scheduled to be delivered between January 2006 and December 2007. Twelve of the AGC (Autorail Grande Capacite) trainsets, ordered on behalf of the Region of Limousin, are equipped with bi-mode power transmission (diesel and electric). The AGC, with seating capacity ranging from 160 to 220 seats, can travel at a maximum speed of 99 miles per hour.
