The Urbitran Group has been awarded a $2.7 million, two-year contract to provide consulting services for parking expansion, development, station access studies, new stations, facilities and long-term development for MTA Metro-North Railroad. With an option renewal, the contract's total value is $5 million. The project involves system-wide site assessment, parking improvement design, strategic facility development and the creation of design/build documents. MTA's Metro-North Railroad provides more than 240,000 customer trips each weekday.
