Bombardier Transportation rolled out its first bi-level commuter railcar for the new commuter rail line in New Mexico. Officials celebrated the completion of the first of ten bi-level railcars at Bombardier's manufacturing facility in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The vehicles are scheduled for delivery between August and October 2005. The new vehicles will run on the New Mexico Rail Runner Express, the state's first commuter rail line, which will run between Belen and Bernalillo, N.M., by year's end.
