Bombardier Transportation received a 10-year contract, valued at $98 million, to operate and maintain the automated guideway transit system at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The contract contains provisions for two additional five-year renewal options. Bombardier has operated and maintained the 49-vehicle system, which moves an average of 225,000 passengers daily, since 1980.
