A consortium comprising Bombardier Transportation and Alstom Transport received a firm order from the French National Railways (SNCF) for 51 multiple unit trainsets.
Bombardier will build 63 of the car units, as well as all of the 165 power bogies.
This entire order is valued at $419 million, of which Bombardier's share is approximately $106 million.
Deliveries are scheduled to take place from September 2008 to March 2010.
