Minn. rail project launches new Website

Posted on August 20, 2008

The Northstar Commuter Rail Project has launched a new Website at its current Web address: http://www.mn-getonboard.com/.

The redesigned site includes new graphics and animation, content and interactive features to help commuters plan their trips and watch the progress of Northstar construction in anticipation of its late 2009 launch.

Using improved Website navigation, online visitors can access information about tickets, anticipated train schedules, tips for a safe commute and connecting to other transit lines.

Additional features include: e-mail updates about Northstar fares, features and other project developments; interactive maps that provide driving directions to Northstar stations and nearby amenities; and updated animations and renderings of what Northstar will look like when service begins.
