Acting FTA Administrator Sherry Little was joined by Utah
Transit Authority (UTA) officials and local leaders to sign a “full funding
grant agreement,” which commits $428.3 million in federal funds toward the
Mid-Jordan light rail system extension.
The 10.6-mile Mid-Jordan line will open by December 2011. By
