TORONTO — The Toronto Transit Commission hopes to prevent suicides on its subway system by installing barriers at its stations, according to an All Headline News article. These anti-suicide barriers, which are already in use in systems in London, Paris, Barcelona and Hong Kong, would cost $10 million per station.
