NEW YORK — PATH's 167 operators are now being trained in a simulator built to resemble one of the system's new railcars. Featuring animated videos and life-like tilting and shaking effects, the simulator is part of the agency's $3.3-billion modernization of the PATH system that includes replacing the entire 340-train fleet by 2011, according to NorthJersey.com.
