London rail workers call 24-hour strike

LONDON — Millions of commuters struggled to get to work on Tuesday as a 24-hour strike by workers protesting the cutting of 800 jobs on London's underground rail system crippled much of the network, according to Reuters. The London Chamber of Commerce estimates each day the underground is shut will cost the capital's economy $73.7 million. For the full story, click here.
