Report: Hampton Roads hid light rail costs from feds

NORFOLK, Va. — A report released on Tuesday says that Hampton Roads Transit leaders knew that the nearly complete light rail project, The Tide, would cost tens of millions more than the $232 million figure they gave the government in 2007, wtkr.com reports.
