The air-conditioned station is believed to be the first of its kind in the nation, the American Public Transportation Association told Reuters.

NRG Energy Center Phoenix, owned and operated by NRG Thermal LLC, is paying the $300,000 cost to build the system and will operate and maintain it. For the full story, click here.
