L.A. Metro pushes again for fare evasion lockdown

LOS ANGELES — Transportation officials recently made their case again for locking fare gates to anyone without a ticket at several rail stations, citing millions of dollars in lost revenue, Los Angeles Times reported.

The effort is the latest attempt by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority to fix a regional ticketing network that allows some to ride for free while requiring others to pay. For the full story, click here.
