Class action suit filed following VIA derailment

TORONTO — Just two days after a VIA Rail train derailed in Burlington, killing three and sending 45 passengers to hospital, paperwork has been filed for a $10-million class-action lawsuit, according to the Toronto Sun.

The same law firm led a class-action lawsuit against Via Rail and CN after a derailment in 1999 that killed two crew members and sent 77 passengers and crew to the hospital.
