Calif. HSR proponents revise plan for lawmakers

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Advocates for California’s $98.5 billion high-speed rail plan are preparing several last-minute changes to decrease the project's cost and improve its chance of getting approval, The Sacramento Bee reported.

Changes include speeding up construction to reduce inflationary costs and funding regional rail improvements in and around Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. However, some lawmakers are losing patience with the project. For the full story, click here.
