WMATA workers plead guilty to stealing $445K

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two former Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority employees pleaded guilty to stealing at least $445,000 from subway fare machines in Virginia, Maryland and Washington to buy lottery tickets, BostonHerald.com reported.
