Calif. High-Speed Rail Authority drops Anaheim link

ANAHEIM, Calif. — The California High-Speed Rail Authority confirmed it will drop a link to Anaheim, marking a significant departure for the San Francisco Bay Area-to-Southern California high-speed rail system that state voters approved in 2008, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The city had planned on the link to generate significant revenue as the centerpiece to its $200-million ARTIC transportation hub that is currently under construction. For the full story, click here.
