PROVIDENCE, R.I. — While more passengers are using the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) commuter rail line between Providence and Rhode Island's main airport, ridership is not as high as anticipated when the line began operating in 2010, AP reported.

Ridership statistics from the MBTA show that twice as many passengers as last year are riding the commuter line, but officials expected that number to be higher. For the full story, click here.
