Questions raised about Detroit rail project

DETROIT — Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood met with Mayor Dave Bing, Gov. Rick Snyder and members of the private M-1 Rail group, and asked about Detroit’s 3.3-mile, $137 million rail line project costs and who would eventually run it, the AP reported.

The M-1 Rail group has raised about $131 million of the $137 million needed to start the project.  For the full story, click here.
