Poll: Calif. high-speed rail losing support

NEW YORK — A new USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll shows that while 53% of California voters approved a bond issue for a high-speed passenger rail project in 2008, 59% would oppose it if given another chance to vote, Bloomberg reported.

The California High-Speed Rail Authority revised its business plan in April amid public opposition, cutting $30 billion from the cost. For the full story, click here.
