Debate rages over new Jerusalem light rail

MINNEAPOLIS — Israel’s first commuter light rail, which runs through both Palestinian and Israeli neighborhoods, has been operating for months, with a mixed bag of feedback, Public Radio International reported. In addition to fostering cultural tension, it took a long time to build and the ticket machines don't always work.

The train also sparked an international outcry because it winds through disputed parts of Jerusalem that Palestinians want for their future state. For the full story, click here.
