Texas' TRE hopes to improve Wi-Fi service

FORT WORTH, Texas — Although the Trinity Railway Express was among the first passenger rail lines in the U.S. to begin installing wireless Internet nearly six years ago, it still hasn’t caught hold with passengers due to spotty service, according to the Star-Telegram.

The commuter rail line, which is co-owned by the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (the T) and Dallas Area Rapid Transit, hopes to launch a more reliable Wi-Fi service in October. For the full story, click here.
