Boston to Cape Cod rail service to get $27M in funds

HYANNIS, Mass. — As part of a $13 billion, statewide capital plan over the next decade, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation Board agreed to renew passenger rail service from Boston to Cape Cod with close to $27 million in funds, The Barnstable Patriot reported.

The 21st Century Transportation Plan addresses systemic budget deficits at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, MassDOT and the 15 regional transit authorities. For the full story, click here.
