NEW YORK CITY — A nearly 33-year-old art installation, which was defaced sometime after the New York City subway was shut down during Hurricane Sandy, has been restored, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The installation,"Masstransiscope,"designed by Bill Brand, functions like a zoetrope by producing an optical illusion visible to B and Q train riders who know to look out of the train windows to their right, just before the Manhattan Bridge, the paper reported. For the full story, click here.
