Chicago train collision injures nearly 50

CHICAGO — International Business Times reported that an outbound Blue Line Chicago Transit Authority train collided with an out-of-service train headed in the opposite direction early Monday morning. Nearly 50 people were taken to hospitals, none with serious injuries, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Police are investigating whether the train was hijacked because it had only four cars, which is atypical for a rush hour commute, according to CBS Chicago. For the full story, click here.
