CHICAGO — Officials told the AP that video footage shows there was no driver at the controls of an empty Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) commuter train that collided with another train at a Chicago station on Monday morning. The train went the wrong way toward another parked train and injured nearly 50 people.
Investigators are trying to determine whether the four-car train started moving by itself or if someone put it in motion, either accidentally or intentionally. Union and CTA officials told the AP they were not aware of any similar incidents. For the full story, click here.
