SACRAMENTO, Calif. — As a response to feedback from customers who say they don’t feel safe, the Sacramento Regional Transit District (SRTD) is increasing light-rail security at night and on weekends, reported The Modesto Bee.

SRT officials are also considering future changes, as the system prepares for an increase of passengers due to highway construction and the launch of a new soccer team, as well as a new basketball arena and an entertainment complex downtown. For the full story, click here.
