OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — The Sunrail commuter rail system lost $27 million in the first year, making just $7 million while spending $34 million, Fox Orlando reported.

Sunrail is meeting its expected ridership on Thursdays and Fridays, but having issues filling cars Monday through Wednesday, according to the report. Experts say most public transit systems aren't expected to be money makers since most mass transit systems get help compliments of state and federal funding. For the full story, click here.
