Collisions prompt Calgary Transit officials to warn drivers to pay attention

CALGARY, Canada — Calgary Transit officials said there's nothing more it can do to prevent C-Train collisions other than continuing to warn drivers to pay more attention and stop attempting high-risk maneuvers at light-rail crossings, CBC News reports.

The advice was reiterated after four collisions involving C-Trains and motor vehicles over three days, including one fatal crash on Saturday. Most of the collisions between C-Trains and vehicles this year have involved a driver running red a light or sliding through a red light. For the full story, click here.
