Minn. college could house futuristic transit system

Local leaders are supporting a $25 million proposal to build a Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system in Winona, Minn., and construction of a PRT test lab at Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical. PRT involves a network of guideways that uses small, pod-like vehicles to shuttle passengers directly to their destinations.
