TOLEDO, Ohio — University of Toledo officials hope that a new student transportation debit card specifically for taxi fares will both open up the city and provide safe rides to students who have been drinking, according to the Toledo Blade.

The cards, which have been available for a couple of months, can be used only to pay fares with Black and White cabs, including trips to the airport. It also allows a group of students to ride in a Black and White cab for one fare without the typical extra passenger fee. For the full story, click here.
