DURHAM, N.C. — Duke University hopes to reduce the number of parking permits on campus by up to 1,500 over the next year, according to the Herald-Sun.

Currently, Duke issues around 27,000 parking permits per year with approximately 1,300 members of the community traveling to campus by riding a bus, sharing a ride or biking.

The university hopes to make other modes of transportation, including bus and biking, to campus more enticing, by increasing incentives to do so. For the full story, click here.
