U. of Minn. to unveil bike reward system

MINNEAPOLIS  — In an effort to encourage more people to bike, the University of Minnesota  is implementing an incentives program for bikers, mndaily.com reported.

The system will use Radio Frequency Identification chips to keep track of who is biking and how much. Those who bike more will earn more points, which they can cash in for rewards, including discounts on bike repairs, equipment and health insurance premiums. For the full story, click here.
