ETA to create traveler info system for U. of Central Fla.

ETA Transit Systems was awarded a contract by the University of Central Florida (UCF) to furnish, deliver, install, test and commission a traveler information system at the university's Orlando campuses.

The UCF traveler information system will provide real-time estimated times of arrival and traveler information by way of Web pages and smart phone applications.

American Coach Lines operates UCF's bus fleet, consisting of 40 shuttle buses operating on 15 routes.

Founded in 2003, ETA Transit Systems is a software development firm specializing in automatic vehicle location, traveler information and communications systems throughout North America.
