COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Columbia City Council is reconsidering contracts for the Columbia Transit Gold and Black routes that run to Missouri University student apartment complexes based on the revenue they generate for the city, Missourian reported.
Columbia entered contracts with student apartment complexes that provide free bus rides to residents over the past several years. However, the Columbia City Council says the contracts are no longer viable for a bus system that is close to bankruptcy. For the full story, click here.
